History
|
Theatre
Nova Scotia formed as a result of a merger between the Nova Scotia Drama
League and the Nova Scotia Professional Theatre Alliance. The Nova Scotia
Drama League was created in 1951 by an act of provincial legislature,
and has a long and proud tradition of promoting and creating theatre and
theatre artists in Nova Scotia. For ten years the Nova Scotia Professional
Theatre Alliance promoted and developed programs beneficial to Nova Scotia's
vibrant professional theatre community. Theatre Nova Scotia now is the
primary resource and advocate for all theatre in the province. |
