Acting with Ann-Marie Kerr – Women’s Work Workshop

This workshop is based on scene work, focusing on recognizing impulse and acting on it. In a playful environment actors will use improvisation techniques to approach text.

Ann- Marie has taught at the National Theatre School, directed Soulpepper’s Youth Mentorship Program, and trained at École Jacques Lecoq.

This workshop series is designed for female-identifying and non-binary folks. Our goal is to create a safe and encouraging space to develop our craft in the presence of other women.

Workshop costs 5$ per participant and will be hosted in a location that will be announced shortly!

This is the second in a five part Workshop Series co-ordinated by 2b student reps Kayla Gunn, Lara Lewis and Julia Schultz in tandem with Laura Vingoe-Cram. Funding for the series comes from a grant from the Fountain School for Performing Arts.
