Dickens’ A Christmas Carol

November 28 – December 27, 2018
Neptune’s Scotiabank Stage
Tuesdays through Sundays at 7:30pm
Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm

By Charles Dickens
Directed and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Webb
Featuring Rhys Bevan-John
The classic family holiday show is brought lovingly to life in this very special holiday experience. Hilarious and sometimes spooky; Dickens’ A Christmas Carol has been lovingly recreated for the whole family. Scrooge, Marley, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and three seasonal spirits will fill your family with holiday joy. Tried and tested, Webb’s adaptation has met with fantastic critical and box office success in Nova Scotia and the USA since 2003. Co-Production with Neptune Theatre.

Running Time:
Approx. 100 minutes (depending on Scrooge’s mood), which includes a 15-minute intermission.

This production uses limited quantities of a water-based fluid to simulate fog. Patrons with allergenic sensitivity and active asthma may find this substance irritating.

This show is suitable for audiences of all ages

A Special Announcement

On Dec 16th at 7:30pm the usually single-handed production of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will become a two-person show for one night only/one night ever! The show’s creator (and original actor for 13 years, and over 650 performances) Jeremy Webb will return for a single show.  But Rhys Bevan-John isn’t vacating the stage or being replaced.  It’s his show now.  Bevan-John and Webb will do the show together!

The two actors will go head to head in a version of the show that sees each actor able to ‘buzz out’ or ‘buzz in’ the other at any point.  Hopefully, hilarity will ensue….
