Maureen is a White, suburbanite summer cottager who loves the peace and quiet of her lakeside getaway.  Arthur is a local Indigenous man who is cultivating wild rice on the lake to make a living.  And there the battle begins as this comedic satire tackles this real life event, based on the Kawartha Lakes region in Ontario.The prolific playwright Drew Hayden Taylor gives us a deft comedy tackling contemporary debates on environmentalism, water usage, land ownership and more.
